Coolnagour Farmhouse Renovation

Coolnagour Farmhouse, located just outside Dungarvan, underwent a full restoration and rebuild from the ground up. Stripped back to bare walls, the property was reimagined to create a bright, light-filled home that blends modern functionality with traditional farmhouse character.

Respecting the building’s heritage was central to the work. Lime render was applied to all interior and exterior walls to allow the structure to breathe naturally, and hand-crafted custom windows were installed to complement the original style. Internally, every space was renewed, including bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas, with new windows, underfloor heating throughout and the careful restoration of the original stone walls.

This comprehensive restoration preserves Coolnagour Farmhouse’s historic charm while delivering the comfort and performance expected in a modern home.
