Location: Dungarvan, Co. Waterford
Conor Phelan Construction is currently seeking an experienced Digger Driver / Groundworker to join our growing team.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be involved in a range of groundwork operations, with a strong focus on Irish Water specification projects, including drainage and pipe installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating excavators safely and efficiently on site
- Carrying out all aspects of groundwork
- Installing pipework in line with Irish Water standards
- Working as part of a team to deliver projects on schedule
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Requirements
- Valid digger/excavator ticket
- 8+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience with pipework and drainage systems
- Strong understanding of Irish Water specifications
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
